* Micah waits till they are a bit away. "So, Link might be the bastard bad guy." Yeah. We don't know. For all we know, he can shapeshift. Wha? But he's Link. He's supposed to be the hero and have the Triforce of Courage on his hand. * Lex rubs her face. No, we were told he could shapeshift and we were told he would be one of the people here. Man for liking the long talky stuff you don't pay much attention. Well, we could ask somebody else if Zelda's been kidnapped. And he's collecting a lot of items. * Lex shoots an angry look at Micah. "Gaspar said he would be here, not what he would look like." Oh yeah, we were supposed to use the bracelets to change our clothes. I keep forgetting that. Nah, pretty sure he said he could be anyone. We got prime suspect right here. More so since we are supposed to have it in our possession, not some pansy elf boy's control. * Lex mutters to herself. "God, I feel like a paranoid." Then she says, a little more to Micah and Henry, "We should do what checking we can while we're shopping. But for now, I think we need to tag along with him no matter who he is." Well, this thing says he doesn't have it yet so going with him until we find what it is makes the most sense, right? [As you walk, you see various stores and stalls! There's a general store with a sign in the window saying there's a discount on butterfly nets, one seems to be an armory of sorts, and there's a stand with a crazed guy tossing a bomb from hand to hand (but it looks like it's not lit, at least, and he's not throwing it at you). You also see what's probably an apothecary.] I mean, if he's Link, he'll probably lead us to what we need. If he's the bad guy, he'll probably lead us to what we need. Either way, we need to make sure we get it. It'll just be harder if he's the bad guy. Yeah. ["Come try out these bombs!" the guy yells at you as you pass by. "Two for one or five for five! One use, but what an explosion!"] Works for me, just you should know, it's poss... * Lex turns to Henry. "Okay. Aside from bombs, what do we need?" * Micah pauses and goes looking at the bombs and starts to head to that shop. Might need the net, or a fire wand. [The man smiles as Micah approaches - a crazy smile with five too few teeth. He has a hat on in a jaunty position! "Hello, good sir! You have a fine eye for bombs, sir!"] * Micah nods. "Let me see them. I'm an expert on things that go boom. ["Absolutely, sir!" He tosses the bomb he was tossing to Micah.] * Lex fiddles with her bracelet, trying to change her clothes, since she doesn't at the moment have anything more useful to do. * Micah starts to examine it, very carefully. "How much?" [Lex's clothes do not change.] * Henry walks over to the guy with the butterfly net sale. [Though when she looks up from her fiddling, she does notice a clothing shop.] * Lex sighs and gives up. ["Two for one or five for five! They're very excellent bombs, sir!"] * Lex hesitates between Micah and Henry, then follows Henry. If Micah blows himself up, at least she won't go with him. * Henry starts to head back and meets Lex halfway. "Need to go in to find out how much the nets are." Hrm. I'll be back. Any special handling things I might need? ["If you buy five bombs, I'll give you a leather bag for all of your bomb-handling needs! And a lighter!" What a steal!] * Henry then turns around and heads back to the store. Right. I'll be back. Did you see where the others in my group went? ["I believe they are heading into the general store, sir!" He points over Micah's shoulder.] Right. I'll be back soon. * Micah turns and not quite rushes that way. [Everyone converges at the entrance of the general store!] So...what do we need a butterfly net for? Yeah, five what ever the fuck the money is called for the bombs and a bag. Let's see if we can get them cheaper. * Henry goes in. "For catching bugs and fairies and sometimes solving puzzles." ...God. This really isn't my world. * Henry nods at Micah and looks for the guy behind the counter. [The general store is a musty, cluttered place. A bunch of butterfly nets are in a barrel next to the door, and another barrel next to it seems filled to the brim with slingshots. Bundled up bunches of... grass?... are piled high in the back, and clay pots line the shelves. A pudgy woman with her hair in a bandanna is at the counter.] [Behind the counter, two glass jars that have been polished until they literally sparkle are on a shelf, safely away from shoplifters.] * Henry waves at the woman. "Hi! How much for the butterf- You have jars!" [She smiles. "Yes, we do! You have a good eye. This store carries the finest jars in all of Hyrule."] * Micah blinks at that comment. "Oh god... this.... that means... " He braces himself, expecting this to be a long boring fetch quest. How much are they? ["One hundred rupees each," she says, still smiling.] * Henry winces. "I think we're gonna haveta come back for those. What about the nets?" ["Oh, the nets! Those are on sale. Normally they're ten, but just today we're selling them for seven."] * Micah looks relieved. * Henry nods and walks up to the counter. "We'll take one please. Just out of curiosity, what're the bales?" ["Quick-planting grass. Kids keep cutting up everyone's lawns and it makes them very uneven." She holds out her hand. "That'll be seven rupees. You can pick out any net you like."] * Henry gives her seven of the little gems. "There you go. Thanks." ["You're welcome," she replies as she pockets the money. "Enjoy catching butterflies!"] [Session End!]
