01<@Ardweden> [Day: Wednesday, September 22. Time: Fifth period lunch.] 01<@Ardweden> [Hank is at school! He is a little bit tired from last night, but both he and Susanna were completely on time for classes.] 06* Hank WINS! 01<@Ardweden> [And now is lunch time - SWEET. Today's poison: tacos, rice, and refried beans. It ain't quite tex mex, but hopefully it'll be okay?] 01<@Ardweden> [Session Start!] ( I like tex mex :< ) 01<@Ardweden> (You do!) (This isn't it though) 06* Hank is quick to get in line for once, getting a healthy... erm, ample amount of tacos and rice. He skips the beans. 01<@Ardweden> [Hank loads up on tacos and rice, but no beans. He might even get a drink, too! As he looks around, he notices that the spot is empty - no Tiffany, no Javy, and no Sydney. There's no Tyler, either, if he cares to look for him; just one of Tyler's friends - the skinny guy - who has a truly tremendous number of tacos on his tray and seems to be trying to make modern art or something.] 06* Hank takes a seat by his lonesome, then. He's not particularly interested in whatsisface, no. 01<@Ardweden> [That's okay; whatsisface doesn't seem super interested in Hank!] 06* Hank WINS again! 01<@Ardweden> [Hank is having the winningest of days! And it looks like it may be getting even more winning... er? As a trio of clearly confident, hot blond chicks comes walking up to his table. He probably recognizes the lead as Delilah, and maaay recognize the girls backing her up as Victoria and Crystal.] 01<@Ardweden> ["Hello there," says Delilah with a smile. "How's school treating the new guy?"] 06* Hank leans back in his chair. "'Sup? Ain't too bad." 01<@Ardweden> ["But I bet it could be better." Delilah sits next to Hank and offers him a smile. "Are you going to Homecoming game?"] 06* Hank shrugs. "I dunno. Been pretty busy lately." 01<@Ardweden> ["What a shame. Maybe I can help - what's got you tied up so much that you can't watch me and the girls?" Speaking of, Victoria and Crystal are talking quietly to each other.] Ahh, can't really talk about. Personal matters 'n stuff. 01<@Ardweden> ["Are you sure? Maybe I can help."] 06* Hank chuckles. "If only. Naw, 'fraid ain't nothin' anyone can do 'cept me." 01<@Ardweden> [Delilah pouts, and she really is quite cute when she does that. "Fine." Pause. "Tell me you're at least going to the dance."] I'm gonna try. 01<@Ardweden> [Delilah smiles. "Good. And just so you know, I'm still available." She leans forward and adds more softly, "But I might not be for long."] 06* Hank grins. "That's so? I'll let ya know." 01<@Ardweden> ["You'd better. And *try* to make the game, all right?" Delilah stands again, setting a hand on Hank's shoulder to help her do so, then brushes past him - hand moving lightly across his back - to head to the line. The other girls follow her, with Victoria chirping, "See you, Hank!" and Crystal nodding to him.] 06* Hank half waves and goes back to eating taco. Yum, taco. 06* Javy walks slowly into the cafeteria line, looking at the selections available. Not the best way to start a school day. 01<@Ardweden> [Javy gets through the line easily enough! The only usual suspect at the usual table is Hank. Well, really, he's the only suspect.] 06* Hank is suspect of what? D: 06* Javy blearily gets some tacos and some iced tea and makes for the table, sitting down rather more finally than usual. 06* Hank looks at Javy over a half-eaten taco. "S'up? What happened last night after I left?" 06* Javy pokes at a taco, and picks it up halfheartedly. "Uh... turned out it wasn't, uh. The right place. It was..." He mumbles under, and sips his tea, before saying, "... research, but it was probably just, just someone else's dream." 06* Hank raises an eyebrow. "I don't follow ya. How'd we end up in the wrong place? 06* Javy munches the taco, and says, "Well... it is, uh, Syd." 06* Sydney appears! She heads for the lunch line to procure tacos and rice. 06* Hank glances at Sydney as she enters. "Good point." 06* Javy sips some tea, and adds, "It's, uh... probably it's somewhere else. Um. Her sister. Like, somewhere else. In... in the city there." 01<@Ardweden> [Sydney gets tacos and rice without much incident, as the line is fairly sure. If she cares to look, she does spot Natalie at her usual table, though she's clearly still in the cranky realm of tired.] 06* Hank looks back at Javy. "Wait. That city? Is that like two people's dreams in the same place? That even possible?" 06* Sydney makes for the usual table, with a quick glance at Natalie's table. 06* Javy shrugs and looks at his plate. "Uh... Syd thought maybe." 06* Tiffany heads into the cafeteria. She's wearing her arm warmers, peeking out under the sleeves of an open hoodie, tattered jean shorts and long black stockings with tennies. She gets in the line, or what's left in it. She seems to be moving very slow and with her head dropped, not really looking at anybody and keeping her gaze and body very much to herself. 06* Sydney sits at the table. "Morn... no, afternoon." She halfheartedly stabs a fork into her rice. 06* Sydney looks at Hank. "Susanna okay?" 06* Javy blanches, and looks up at him halfway. "Oh no, I... oh, sorry. Sorry, Hank." 06* Hank nods. "Don't worry, she's fine. I guess if what you're telling me is right, it wasn't really her in that dream. But thanks fer askin'. 06* Javy looks rather miserable, and picks at his taco. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you worry about her. And we didn't even find Nat in there. Yeah, Javy was tellin' me. He said you think it's possible she's there in that city, though, just not in the dream we were in? How's that possible? 06* Tiffany gathers up her food and walks slowly to the table, looking up slightly to make sure people are there. Not that she'd know what to do if they weren't. She seems to walk a bit slower after she notices them and takes her time. 06* Javy drinks some tea, and glances at Syd, waiting for her. The Walruscat said something at the beginning about it, I think. 06* Tiffany glances at the group, seeming to be in the middle of a dream conversation, and then sits down slowly, giving a subdued "Hey." Weaker walls, and things coming together... 06* Sydney looks at Tiffany. "Afternoon, Tiffany." 06* Javy glances up at her. "Uh, hey, Tiffany." He looks away a little, back at his tea, picking it up. 'Sup? 06* Hank nods to Sydney. "Oh yeah. Huh." 06* Sydney exhales. "So she probably was somewhere out there. Hopefully the next time things will be less weird. I'm really sorry, though." 06* Tiffany rubs her head, brushing her hair back. "Hey..." She frowns a little as she looks down at her taco mess and picks at it, then slowly turns to half glance at Hank. She lowers her voice a bit, if that were possible, and takes a remorseful tone. "Sorry..." 06* Javy glances back up at Tiffany again as he sips, shy, and then to Syd. "We'll ... we can find her next time. For sure." 06* Tiffany sighs. "We've gotta come up with a way of telling a real person being there in a dream versus someone who's just a part of someone else's dream..." 06* Javy thinks for a bit, and then says, "Uh... I don't think, like, she would have wanted to be that. Um." He colors a little, and picks up his taco again. "You know. A werewolf." Does anyone? There's probably someone out there who would. I don't think I want to meet them, though. 06* Javy nods a couple of times, and puts a hand on the table. "But... that's. The others. They got what they wanted. Like... uh, like they were happy. She... Susanna wouldn't be like that. Uh, just... a happy werewolf." Damn right. If I find out who that fucker was, he ain't gonna be to happy neither, werewolf or no. We can't really say for sure. The only one who knows her for sure is Hank. But he doesn't. 06* Javy blushes. "Uh, doesn't think so. That she'd be a, a werewolf." 06* Sydney puts her fork down. "So I'm going back in tonight and I'm going to hope it's normal again. Well, normal for the dream realm." Which is... really not very. B But at least people's dreams don't usually intersect. Yeah... 06* Tiffany pokes at her food for a moment and then absently comments. "When did all of you wake up?" Usual time. Close to noon. Nat apparently woke up a little *before* I did. 06* Javy turns his plate a little, and says, "Almost noon. It's... my dad, he... he was freaking out. Too." My mom wasn't happy. I told her maybe we were coming down with something. Like mono. That makes you really tired, right? 06* Hank looks to Javy with a confused look and mouths, "mono?" 06* Tiffany sighs. "Yeah. Same here. Except with the dad thing." She has a brief snicker at the "mono" comment. 06* Javy shrugs a little at Hank, eyes wide. "I... but how would we..." He doesn't seem to be going anywhere with that. 06* Hank looks back at the others. "Uh... Might wanna skip it tonight." 06* Javy nods a little, and looks at Syd, still rather flummoxed. 06* Tiffany sighs a little and picks at her food. "Maybe. I dunno. I'm worried about Natalie too. But...I gotta be practical. And waking up at noon all the time isn't going to fly over very well. Especially since we can't say the *real* reason we're waking up so late..." 06* Sydney frowns and hmms. "You guys have a point, especially since we're in about as bad shape as she is right now..." 06* Javy nods to Syd's comment. "So we'll try... tomorrow again?" 06* Tiffany picks at her food. "But we *still* don't know the timeline we actually *have*. And that's frustrating..." Most of me wants to rush right back in there again, but I don't want to risk you guys. I *want* to say she's not as far along as Nate or Tony were. Maybe I can go. Just do some scoutin'. I mean I got some sleep last night, so... But you don't know what to look for. I mean...Sydney might get lost at the drop of a hat, but at least she *knows* Nat. 06* Javy nods along supportively. 06* Hank rubs the back of his head. She has a very good point. 06* Tiffany sighs and pokes her food. "Maybe every other day would be better. Or focusing our attention more on the weekend when we can sleep in. I mean...I know it's hard when we know someone but we can't help anyone if we get woken up in the middle of a dream because our parents are worried..." 06* Javy drinks some tea, and nods. "My dad... he usually, uh. He doesn't look like that." 06* Tiffany then looks down at her food for a moment and frowns. "Oh shit, I forgot." 06* Sydney blinks and looks at Tiffany. "Tomorrow night." 06* Javy looks at her for a beat, and then says slowly, "The moon, you mean?" Tomorrow night is a full moon. 06* Tiffany glances at Sydney. "Yeah. It's a full moon." I have to mark these in my calendar... but we can go see Medea again. So...we go tonight? And visit Medea tomorrow? If you guys are up for it tonight. I don't really want to wait two nights if we can help it. Can we help it? 06* Tiffany frowns deeply and starts to think about that. She hasn't looked at much of anyone most of this conversation. Alright. Just don't push yerself too hard. 06* Javy looks uneasy as well, and eats most of the rest of his taco. "Is it... we're just scouting?" 'S about all we can do, unless you know where to find her. I wish I did. 06* Tiffany eats her food. "You thinking we should go when we know we can commit to more than just looking?" 06* Javy drinks some tea to wash it down. "Or... or just get in and out. Um. As fast as we can." And this time let's not split up. 06* Javy nods, and finishes the tea off. "Yeah." 06* Hank finishes his taco. Okay, I think we have a plan. 06* Tiffany stares at Sydney. "Wait? We do?" Dream scouting tonight, Medea tomorrow? 06* Tiffany looks at Sydney for a moment. "I..." She goes to tapping the table, chin in her palm. "That was the plan? Oh...um...okay. I guess then?" Okay! 01<@Ardweden> [Okay!] 01<@Ardweden> [Now session end!]
