 01<@Ardweden> [Javy wakes up after scouring the dream world for Natalie, with 
no luck.  Bright light is streaming through his windows.]

 06* Javy stirs in the bed slowly, and blinks a little, groggily moving a hand 
to shade his eyes.
 01<@Ardweden> [Light sucks, man.  It's bright and annoying and gets in your 
eyes.]
 06* Javy manages to do a combination of pulling covers and hand shading to 
combat this dastardly invention.
 01<@Ardweden> [It works, but then another obstacle appears in the form of sharp 
rapping on Javy's door.  "Son?  You up?"]
 06* Javy rolls a little in bed, and then sits up mostly. "Uh... yeah, I think 
so."
 01<@Ardweden> [The door opens a crack and Javy's dad's head pokes in.  He looks 
Javy over and frowns.]
 01<@Ardweden> ["Better get dressed.  You're late for school."]
 06* Javy nods a couple of times. "Yeah. Uh..." He blinks in the light, and puts 
his legs out of bed. "What time is it?"
 01<@Ardweden> ["Almost noon."  Pause.  "How are you, uh, feeling?"]
 06* Javy straightens, and his eyes widen in a hurry. "Uh...just. Tired, but I'm 
okay. I... noon?"
 01<@Ardweden> [His dad nods.  "Better hurry; we can talk about this some more 
later."  And he closes the door.]
 06* Javy gets out of bed, and sticks his head out of his room. "Dad? Is there 
time to shower?"
 01<@Ardweden> [His dad looks up; he's leaning on the wall and just seems tired 
himself, for some reason.  "Uh... make it quick, okay?"]
 06* Javy nods, suddenly looking concerned. "Okay. Dad... are you okay?"
 01<@Ardweden> ["Huh?  Yeah, I'm just... I need to take you to class so I can 
get to the shop, okay?"]
 06* Javy nods, coloring slightly. "Yeah, I'll... okay. I'll just shower 
quickly, and then we'll go?"
 01<@Ardweden> [He nods.]
 06* Javy nods back, contrite, and rushes off to shower and get changed.
 01<@Ardweden> [Javy gets changed and eventually gets into the car!  The drive 
to school is silent, assuming Javy doesn't start conversation.]
 06* Javy mostly glances over him a few times, his hands tense on his bag in his 
lap. When they arrive, he'll turn to say "Sorry, Dad. I'll see you after."
 01<@Ardweden> [He nods.  "Meet me at the flower shop after school, okay?  I'm 
going to need the extra help this afternoon."]
 06* Javy nods, and opens the door. "I'll be there." He pauses, and then 
awkwardly mumbles, "Thanks for the ride."
 01<@Ardweden> ["Just don't miss any more classes, okay?"  Javy's dad gives him 
a smile, then drives off once Javy's out of the car.]
 06* Javy nods and smiles back a little in exchange, shoulders his bag, looks 
off at the school, and makes his way in.
