01<@Ardweden> [Day: Wednesday, September 22. Time: 11:41.] 01<@Ardweden> [Tiffany wakes up after scouring the dream world for Natalie, with no luck. She's not sure what time it is - at least, not until she checks the clock, but it's clear that the sun's pretty bright behind the dark curtains that cover her window.] 01<@Ardweden> [Session Start.] 06* Tiffany turns over in her bed with a groan and then tries to sit herself upright in the bed, pulling the dreamcatcher out from under the pillow and slipping it in the top drawer of her nightstand. Only then does she try to look directly at the sunny window and shield her eyes and turn to look at the clock. 01<@Ardweden> [11:43 looks back at her.] 06* Tiffany almost drops the clock as she sees that, but does toss it a little and it clatters off of her nightstand. "Shit!" She throws back the covers and jumps out so she can get ready. Her hair probably looks terrible, and she needs to touch herself up, and get all her clothes straight and oh god oh god. 01<@Ardweden> [The clock clatters to the floor, abused and alone.] 06* Tiffany puts on her clothes. Luckily they were set out the night before. She's not bothering with much makeup or such because LATE. She does rush to the bathroom to wash her face though and comb her hair. 01<@Ardweden> [Tiffany gets herself in order, more or less, well. Her face is kind of missing, but other than that, she's all there!] 06* Tiffany looks in the mirror and makes sure to straighten her clothes (because when she puts them on *that* hastily, they're bound to be a little uneven) then pulls her arm warmers up, looking at her arms as she does so, then rushes back to her room to grab her backpack, throw books and homework in, and rush down the stairs. 01<@Ardweden> [Tiffany RUNS DOWN THE STAIRS and straight into the living room, where she sees her mom getting to her feet. "Tiffany!" she cries, rushing to her daughter and grabbing her by her shoulders. "Do you know what *time* it is?!"] 06* Tiffany stops short in her tracks and slows down, clutching her backpack in front of her chest and looking down at the couch, gaze off to the side, half mumbling, half off-handish. "I can read a clock, Mom..." 01<@Ardweden> ["Then you should know that you're LATE for school!" She glances over Tiffany's shoulder. "Do you have everything you need? Did you do your homework?"] 06* Tiffany sighs, and mutters something under her breath, then looks up at her mom. "Have I ever had trouble with my homework, Mom?" She sighs. "Seriously..." 01<@Ardweden> ["I don't know, have you?" She looks at Tiffany, then sighs herself. "Come on, let's go."] 06* Tiffany blinks a bit and looks surprised at her for a moment. "You're gonna take me?" 01<@Ardweden> [Tiffany's mother stares at her like she grew a second head. "Not if you keep dallying I won't! What do you think I'm skipping out on work for!"] 06* Tiffany looks at her mom as if *she* grew a second head for a moment, and seems at a loss of what to say. "I...um..." She pauses for a moment, then looks down, clutching her bag tighter. "Thanks..." 01<@Ardweden> [Tiffany's mother looks confused for a moment, then covers it up with a, "Well, don't just stand there." She herds Tiffany off to the car.] 06* Tiffany gets herded and yelps for a moment. "I'm going! I'm going already!" She starts walking on her on accord and half-glares, but it's definitely not with her usual heart to it. "God..." She makes her way towards the car. 01<@Ardweden> [Caitlin Olivier huffs, herself, but gets into the driver's seat. And once Tiffany's in, too, it's off to school!] 01<@Ardweden> ["I don't know what's gotten into you," she says to her daughter as they drive. "Why did you sleep so late?"] 06* Tiffany sighs and runs her fingers through her hair, looking slightly uncomfortable. Mom's feeling talkative. This can't be good. After a brief pause, she responds, "I dunno. Didn't you try to wake me up?" 06* Tiffany still probably looks and feels really tired too, if Mom looks int he rear view mirror. 01<@Ardweden> ["Of *course* I tried to wake you up! You wouldn't answer. Your father was so worried..." She trails off for a moment, then comes back with, "From now on, don't lock your room when you go to bed."] 06* Tiffany frowns and pauses for a moment, before responding "Why?" rather defensively. 01<@Ardweden> ["Because if something happens to you, we can't do anything about it!"] 06* Tiffany frowns more, then grips both front seats, leaning forward, raising her voice "It's *my* room, Mom! You can't just barge in without permission!" 01<@Ardweden> [Her mom looks at her by way of rearview mirror. "It's my *house*, and I can and I will when I'm worried about your safety!"] What the--I'm *FINE*, Mom! I'm here *now*, aren't I? 06* Tiffany folds her arms and flops back in the back seat, not looking forward but off to the side. "I don't see what the big deal is anyway." 01<@Ardweden> ["The- what- you wouldn't ANSWER, Tiffany! What part of this is not a big deal! You could have been kidnapped or killed or, I don't know, in a coma and we wouldn't even know!"] 06* Tiffany yells. "But I'm *not*, Mom! And you seem to be missing that point." She folds her arms again, looking away and blowing out another breath. "God, I'm not a little kid anymore." 01<@Ardweden> ["Then start *acting* like an adult."] 06* Tiffany scowls and grips the seats again, raising her voice again. "Stop the goddamned car! I'm walking." 01<@Ardweden> ["No. I'm going to make sure you get to school." Fortunately for both ladies, despite being obviously upset, Tiffany's mom is still a deft driver.] 06* Tiffany folds her arms and blows out a breath, slumping back in her seat again. "Fine." 01<@Ardweden> [She nods. And drives. The silence is even louder than the yelling.] 06* Tiffany mutters under her breath before going silent. She's not even looking forward anymore though. 01<@Ardweden> [They get to the school without further incident, and Mrs. Olivier pulls up to the front doors.] 06* Tiffany 's unbuckling her seatbelt even before the vehicle's come to a complete stop and slides out her seat. She doesn't *quite* slam the car door, but she does come close, and clutches her pack to her chest as she immediately walks (with heavy not quite stompy steps) towards the school proper. 01<@Ardweden> (And into lunch with you!)
