 01<@Ardweden> [Susano-O awakens in a large stone room, that looks like 
it was once a church of some kind, with stone walls, arched windows, and 
pillars.  Flickering torches line the walls, and at both ends are large 
wooden double doors with handles that look like crossed keys.]
 01<@Ardweden> [He remembers going to bed after a *really* late night of 
helping out at the shop... he's pretty sure that he managed to fall 
asleep on time?  The dream catcher was under his pillow, anyway.  And 
here he is as Susano-O.  So... hopefully?  But this all looks a little 
wrong.]
 01<@Ardweden> [Session Start.]
 06* Susano-o looks around, worriedly, and takes stock of himself before 
tentatively saying, "Hello? Is anyone else here?"
 01<@Ardweden> ["We are here."  There are equally soft steps, and Susano-
O finds himself looking at... a dog?  A large, chocolate brown dog, who's 
sniffing at him.  A hand rests on the dog's head, and- ah, there's a 
woman, or what he presumes is one, wearing a white robe and brown cloak, 
its hood covering her face completely.  She's... staring at him.  He's 
sure that much is true.]
 06* Susano-o blinks, and looks from the dog to the woman, and then to 
the door. "And have we met before, milady?"
 01<@Ardweden> ["Not us, specifically," she says in that one-but-many 
voice.  They all *seem* female?  Probably?  The dog whines, and she pets 
it.  "You are at a crossroads, young Walker."]
 06* Susano-o nods, looking at the dog. "I am? In here?"
 01<@Ardweden> [It nuzzles Susano-O's hand.  Even in dreams, dog have wet 
noses.  "Yes," the woman replies.  "Two doors, and two young women for 
you to follow.  One seeks her sister; the other her friend."]
 06* Susano-o pets the dog lightly, as well, crouching down a little. He 
looks puzzled for a beat, and then it downs. "Hien and Kali."
 01<@Ardweden> [She nods.  And waits, because he's probably got 
questions.]
 06* Susano-o does, in fact, as he scratches between the dog's ears. 
"But... where is this now? And who are you? Why am I not in Haven?"
 01<@Ardweden> ["You are in *a* haven, which is enough for now.  You 
crossed boundaries at a difficult time, Susano-O, and it was only through 
my goddess' power that you were able to come here."]
 06* Susano-o looks perplexed. "So who is your goddess? It's a different 
one?"
 01<@Ardweden> [Susano-O can feel the smirk.  "Hecate is often quite 
different, yes.  And thankfully so."]
<Susano-o> And she helped you here?
 06* Susano-o pauses, still petting down the dog's neck. "Why? How did 
you know to find me?"
 01<@Ardweden> ["It is through her power that you can even cross into 
dreams as you do," the woman explains.  "Hecate is not one of the lords 
of this realm, but she does safeguard the barriers."]
 06* Susano-o nods slowly. "Does she know why they're weakening, then?"
 01<@Ardweden> [The priestess? messenger? nods, her dog whining again.  
She shushes it softly.]
 06* Susano-o nods. "Is it given to you to share that with us?"
 01<@Ardweden> [There's a pause, then the woman says, "You may want to 
speak with my sister, if you wish to know more about that."]
 06* Susano-o nods agreeably. "All right. Have I met her? Who is she?"
 01<@Ardweden> ["We believe you have."  The woman waves her hand, and a 
third hallway opens up, with a third set of doors at the end.]
 06* Susano-o looks off towards the new door, clearly intrigued. "And 
that goes to her?"
 01<@Ardweden> ["Yes."]
 06* Susano-o looks between all three choices. "Can you tell me about 
her? Anything I should know? If I know her already. Who is it?"
 01<@Ardweden> ["She tends the shrine to the three.  You've met, haven't 
you?"]
 06* Susano-o blinks, and nods. "Ah. Yes, I have. I just talked with her 
yesterday, I think."
 01<@Ardweden> ["Oh?" she asks, as the dog cocks its head.]
 06* Susano-o nods, then hesitates. "Or... maybe not. But I think I know 
who you mean." He looks between the doors. "So which goes where? To which 
path?"
 01<@Ardweden> [She gestures to the one to her left.  "The one you call 
Kali."  And then right.  "Hien."  She nods to the one in the center.  
"You already know where that one leads."]
 06* Susano-o looks between them. "Which one are you going to?"
 01<@Ardweden> [He can hear the smirk again.  "They aren't my paths to 
take.  Come," she says, patting her leg.  The dog whines again, but it 
turns and follows her... right into the wall, which opens to create a 
fourth exit into the gray mist before closing behind her.]
 06* Susano-o looks from one door to the next, settling his gaze for a 
couple of beats on the one leading to Kali... but then sighs, and ends up 
making his way towards the one for Hien.
 01<@Ardweden> [Susano-O heads for Hien's door.  If he chooses to open 
it, he does so with no trouble.
 06* Susano-o does open it! And makes his way through!
