<@Satoshi> [Date: Morning of Monday, March 22nd, 2004 (Tokyo) / Evening of Sunday, March 21st, 2004 (Orono)] <@Satoshi> [Satoshi is catching up on things that happened while he was away for most of the weekend in Boston, having his very first games in an NHL arena! He's still really excited about that.] <@Satoshi> [While he's catching up, he's chatting with Katie, who's at home on her laptop. Thankfully, she has been spared the detailed hockey stuff.] <@Satoshi> [Satoshi has now gotten to Taki's e-mail and Haruko's followup and uh. He's confused.] <@Satoshi> [Session-y Thing Start!] * @Satoshi reads the e-mails again. Did you see these e-mails from Taki and Haruko? yeah. I feel like I am missing a whole lot of context here. Me too. idk why she was in Osaka. Okay, so it's not just me. But Haruko wasn't confused so maybe she does. Or maybe she's trying so hard to be Taki's friend that it doesn't matter. Or maybe she can do the same leaps of logic bc they're both cups. I also do not get this thing about Aka Uehara and Handai and a records room? I think it's something Kaede mentioned at some point. Ah, okay. Got it. So Taki figured she'd try to check into it while she was in Osaka for... reasons. Looks like it. She's never been good at context. Also she completely freaked out. ? oh, yeah. Well she's Taki. Which makes it kind of hard to figure out if something actually *happened* or not other than running into her. In a field, apparently. "Her" being this Yamagata person. Yeah. I'm kind of annoyed I didn't recognize her. But I guess a lot was going on back then & she probably looks different now. Taki's easy to spot in a crowd too. And being out of a crowd makes it even easier. yeah. Well that ties everything a little more neatly together at least. Yeah. Hm. * Katie rubs at her eyes, then gets up briefly to go to the bathroom. Satoshi probably won't even notice she's gone. * @Satoshi doesn't, really, given he's still pretty tired himself. Still half-convinced that my mom has some secret plot to take over the government, which is really kind of silly. * Katie returns after a few minutes, stretching, and sits down. She read what Satoshi just wrote. idk but I do think she's trying to find Arcana. Totally agree on that. I keep wondering why *now*. Because we're not really fighting anymore? Or the cycle's broken? Mmm, yeah. Pondering if I want to respond to these e-mails. I probably should just so she knows I read them. Yeah. "Dear Taki, Why exactly were you in Osaka? -Satoshi" Sounds great! Might be all I have energy for tonight. Well you've been busy. It makes sense. I played three games last weekend. We only signed up for two. ^_~ Exactly! There are far too many teams in Massachusetts. Which I also agree has far too many letters. maybe it's proportional to the # of letters. Entirely possible. I think it needs more research. Keep playing hockey against too- many-letters state. That's the plan! :) I have to get ready for class now. Okay! I'll send out this e-mail and then go to sleep. Talk to you later! Good night! [End!]
