Kazuko has conventional Japanese political campaign materials, with the notable exceptions of subtle incorporation of sprouting staves and emphasizing virtues of the Nine of Wands such as resilience and patience. She has a proposal of how an trustee-managed investment fund, with initial funders she’s recruited, could provide interest revenue for the Council.
Kyon Sorata runs a fairly traditional campaign and with his photograph in a business suit having an aura of command. His materials emphasize leadership and steadiness while using the family crest in a way that evokes his family’s fine potables. Long standing efforts by Hiromi, buttressed by Haruko, have spread stories of some of the group’s more clear cut successes and his role in them.
"We are living incarnations of mystical archetypes. Secrecy is necessary for our existence, but it does not excuse a lack of transparency among ourselves. If the Council is to exact changes, it must be done fairly and openly."
Yusuke Fuyuken is running on the idea that everyone should get together and work together, regardless of the past. His glamorous poster is worthy of an idol, but doesn’t fully disguise the absence of ideas about how that would work besides coming to a table and talking.
Hirokazu Ashikaga agenda is not much developed beyond help Arcana out! With powers and things! His primary motivation is to prove himself as a peer to his old schoolmate Yorihisa. He intends to develop his game at the same time though it’s not clear what if any role that’ll play in the campaign.
Nori hasn’t attached her name to her campaign yet and her poster is a punk editorial cartoon version of the Seven of Cups not so subtly critiquing the existing council, country, and materialistic aspirations, and the idea of easy cooperation. She doesn’t have an agenda per say, instead calling out what she sees as tempting empty promises.
Miyabi echoes the King of Swords in her starting position that life for a lot of Arcana is kind of terrible. She holds out hope that If we work together and listen to each other, maybe we can make it a little better. That's what the council should be. Her amateurish but cute poster depicts her silhouette against a starry background, holding out a hand.
Katie Andrews wants to make sure those that were went after just because people thought they were weak and convenient are represented. She’s seen powerful Arcana do whatever they wanted to others, and people close to them wouldn't raise a voice because they were powerful. We need to prevent that in the future.
The King of Swords argues that the old ways have failed, and a hardworking innovator, capable of fighting to defend the community, is needed to build a brighter future. She advertises with a stylized depiction of a young person, acting as a bench for an authoritative woman facing away, with the mantra of “rise up.”
