<@Dreol> [Buda, Hungary, April 11th 11:30 PM] <@Dreol> [Last time you all met with Jurgen, and then determined that you would head into Transylvannia in mid-august and Varyn would aide you in your search for the Fang. Also, Moriel determined that he would try to get the location of Moloch from Aliz. You are now at court the following night, and the court is even more full than the first night you were there. Rolf has already been mistaken for <@Dreol> somebody else by some Cappadocians. Other than that, it's court! You can get on with your courtly selves!] <@Dreol> [Begin!] 06* Varyn will float around from group to group, making light talk, but he was working his way towards the Toreador, Cecilia in particular. 06* Moriel overhears some Ventrue talking about the Tzimisce prisoner talking, and heads over to talk to them. "Excuse me. I apologize for interrupting, but I heard you saying something about the Tzimisce prisoner. What has he said?" 06* Rolf sure is there. Growf. He scratches his scruffy chin semi- thoughtfully, having broken away from the crazy people who don't know a Gangrel when they can smell him. 06* Eliana is on the sidelines, and she seems perfectly fine with that. Her arms are folded while she watches and listens from the sidelines, waiting for anything or anyone of interest to her. 06* Anstace wanders around for a bit looking for a friendly face, but after a few minutes and no luck, she finds a seat and sits down, listening to those closest to her. <@Dreol> [Moriel approaches what turns out to Jehanne, the Brujah, talking to Uther, the Ventrue. Uther looks up and bows his head to Moriel slightly. "It seems that he is finally willing to discuss the strength of Ruthven's forces with us."] <@Dreol> [Varyn approaches Cecilia, who is in what looks like a nice, freshly laundered dress that still somehow has spots of paint on it. There are also a few stray spots of paint on her face. She smiles at Varyn as he approaches. "Is there something I can help you with?"] 06* Moriel gives Uther an inquiring look. "Any specifics yet?" 06* Varyn smiles happily at Cecilia. "Ah, you're Cecilia the painter aren't you?" <@Dreol> [Cecilia nods to Varyn. "Yes, of course."] <@Dreol> [Uther shakes his head. "Not much. At least not much that makes much sense. A few more days of unrestful sleep and maybe he'll decide to get more specific." I've heard great things about your work. 06* Moriel tilts his head. "Not much that makes sense?" 06* Eliana heads over to Anstace and sits opposite her. "Enjoying yourself?" <@Dreol> [Uther shrugs. "Yeah. He's said things like 'The time of the dragon is coming. Lord Ruthven will control the dragon.' Or 'Ruthven controls the eastern wind. We will stampede over your forces.' The only number we have received is 'Hundreds! Thousands!' which is just impossible. No one has that many kindred at their disposal."] <@Dreol> [Cecilia smiles to Varyn. "I am pleased. Would you like to see some of it?"] 06* Varyn smiles more at Cecilia. "I would love to." 06* Moriel frowns thoughtfully. "I see." He nods to the two of them. "Thank you," he says, and bows out of the conversation. <@Dreol> [Klaud, the Gangrel, is leaning against the wall farthest from the door. He is dressed in warm clothing. Wool, fur and leather.] <@Dreol> [Cecilia nods and heads to the back of the room, leading Varyn into the gallery.] <@Dreol> [Uther shrugs. "If you with to question him yourself, you are welcome to, I am sure that Jehanne would accompany you."] 06* Varyn follows Cecilia happily, this sounds like an amazing evening to him. 06* Rolf nods his head and says gruffly, offering his hand for an arm clasp, "Heard you've been the point of the spear out here." 06* Moriel shakes his head. "No, thank you. Interrogation is not my strong suit." <@Dreol> [Klaud clasps Rolfs arm and nods, grunting. "Yes. We've been doing our best to keep Ruthven from advancing through the mountains and forests. And, when we get the opportunity, we've been pushing back. It's a rough war out there. We don't have the advantage of an army of lycans to send against him like Mithras does."] 06* Rolf nods slightly and shakes, before letting go. "You'd think Lycans would be more concerned... I guess they do not believe in their brethren's torture." <@Dreol> [Klaud shrugs. "Or they do not see a direct connection between Lambach Ruthven and what is happening in northern Britain."] 06* Anstace looks up at Eliana. "as much as you can in these settings. i did manage to find a spot out of the way where nobody would stare" 06* Moriel politely drops out of Jehanne and Uther's conversation. He heads back over to where he saw Eliana and Anstace and gives them a half- bow, though he looks distracted. "Good evening." 06* Eliana eyebrow raises at Anstace. "You are worried someone might stare at you?" And then Moriel shows up, and she nods to him. "Moriel MacRae. Good evening." 06* Moriel blinks at Anstace. "You seem rather less of a spectacle here. You weren't introduced and titled before the entire court, after all." 06* Anstace looks up at Moriel and then back to Eliana. "i have been on display since you found me. but Moriel is correct. it is not as bad here" 06* Rolf growls a little and says, "Yeah, well, I'm gettin' to feel they should." 06* Moriel takes a seat nearby, frowning again in thought. "I don't suppose either of you would know what the time of the dragon might mean, or controlling the east wind." <@Dreol> [Klaud nods to Rolf. "I have heard of you as well, Rolf Magnus Lupus. You have done a great deal of marching yourself."] 06* Anstace looks at Moriel. "no. i have not." 06* Eliana shrugs with one shoulder. "None beyond a prophecy, but my knowledge of that is vague at best. Why?" 06* Rolf chuckles a little and says, "Thanks. At least someone can recognize me." A small pause, then Rolf continues, "Any good hunting in these parts?" It seems the Tzimisce prisoner has been babbling about the time of the dragon coming and Ruthven controlling the dragon. And the east wind. another prophecy. curious I thought I remembered something, but wasn't sure. Perhaps we can try to research more about it during our time here. 06* Eliana nods. "Certainly. I'll see about accessing the chantry library." <@Dreol> [Klaud shakes his head. "I don't spend much time in Buda, to be honest with you. Most of my hunting is done in the north woods. I would be pleased to journey out with you tomorrow night. There are some scattered farms on the forest's edge, and woodsman tend to frequent the forest for their own hunting. I would enjoy seeing you hunt... Perhaps you could offer your own battle expertise to help us plan our campaign in the east."] 06* Anstace nods. "that could prove useful. i am not certain there is really anyone here we could ask" 06* Rolf nods and says, "I'd be honored by the chance." 06* Moriel frowns more as he visibly wanders off down some train of thought. His fingers start tapping against the arm of his chair. <@Dreol> [Klaud nods and laughs. "It is decided then! Tomorrow we hunt!"] 06* Anstace looks at Moriel, and then down at his drumming fingers. 06* Eliana looks over at the loud, laughing gangrel. "*Someone's* enjoying himself." 06* Anstace reaches over and puts her hand on Moriel's fingers to stop them. "restlessness does not suit you" 06* Moriel twitches at the unexpected touch, then blinks at Anstace. "My apologies. I was just . . . thinking." i gathered that. if you were marking the passage of time, your rhythm would be slower 06* Moriel smiles at that. "I shall leave that to you. You are much better at it." 06* Anstace nods. "i am." smiles her warmest completely emotionless smile, as evidenced by the fact that her face is completely unchanged from moments ago. 06* Moriel smiles a bit wider, but then the expression slips. He gestures, 06* Anstace nods. she gestures. 06* Moriel nods. he repeats. 06* Anstace nods. 06* Moriel 's eyes harden. His hands curl up - not quite into fists; it looks more like he's restraining himself from "speaking" immediately. <@Dreol> [Session End!... For now!]
