<@Dreol> [Cecilia leads Varyn into a grand gallery. The room is almost as large as the great room and is adorned with a variety of art from sculptures in marble to oil paintings. Cecilia leads Varyn over to a large oil painting of a castle on a cliff overlooking the sea. "This is one of mine." She moves over to a portrait of Matriarch Salianna, a beautiful woman that Varyn may or may not have met. In this painting, she is dressed all in blue and has a haunting smile. "As is this."] You captured the smile beautifully. <@Dreol> [Cecilia nods. "Thank you. She is a beautiful subject. She taught me to paint."] I see the talent and thought you put into the piece. <@Dreol> [She nods. "Do you paint?"] I'm afraid I work with metals. <@Dreol> [She laughs some and shakes her head, smoothing our her skirt as she moves over to another piece. "I'm afraid about you working with metals as well... That seems dangerous. This piece..." She motions to a painting of a man's body lying on the ground, a spear through his chest, blood seeping out onto the ground into a large pool. "This piece I painted for Jurgen specifically. He wanted a representation of war for a time of war."] mmm it is fairly accurate. 06* Varyn wants to comment on the spear, but is doing his best to be polite right now. <@Dreol> [She nods. "So why so much interest in art?"] Art is important in my line of work. I must give in to functionality, but everyone wants theirs to be beautiful as well. <@Dreol> [She smiles. "How nice that you concern yourself with such things."] It is important, but my work will never have a spot for just its beauty. <@Dreol> [She nods. "Well, if you ever want to talk about art, I am happy to discuss such things with you. And I would be pleased to see some of your work, as well."] I would be happy to show you. Perhaps tomorrow evening? I am happy to talk art, it is a relief as most want the more functional aspects <@Dreol> [She bows. "That sounds lovely."] <@Dreol> [End Here.]
