<@Dreol> [Buda, Hungary, April 13th 1262, 10:00 PM] <@Dreol> [Aliz is in her room. The ghoul who is charged with guarding here is there, not doing much. Aliz is sitting on the edge of her bed looking out the window.] <@Dreol> [Begin!] 06* Moriel knocks on the door, then opens it and pokes his head around it without waiting for a response. Aliz doesn't really seem to be into talking. "Aliz?" <@Dreol> [Aliz looks up at Moriel and hops off her bed, walking over to him.] 06* Moriel smiles down at her. "I was going to go for a walk. Would you like to come with me?" <@Dreol> [Aliz nods and grabs onto Moriel's hand.] 06* Moriel smiles more and leads her out and down the hall. After a little walking through the manor, they come out into a garden. Moriel seems to relax a trifle as they come outside, and then he looks down at Aliz again. "I've always liked gardens." <@Dreol> [Aliz nods and looks around, not letting go of Moriel's hand. The garden is a fair size and contains several types of flowers. More than anything, it contains red tulips. Aliz points to one. "Pretty."] 06* Moriel smiles, eyes crinkling up, and nods at her. "They are." He starts walking slowly through the garden, keeping to Aliz' pace and stopping if it seems like she wants to look at something. "I have my own garden at home where I live, too. It has different flowers in it, though." <@Dreol> [She looks up at Moriel. "Where?" She still can't seem to get herself to form complete sentences, but she seems to be getting more comfortable talking to Moriel.] 06* Moriel is obviously making an effort to be as warm and gentle with her as he can. "I live near a city called London, in England. It's far away from here." <@Dreol> [She nods and looks down at the ground. After a while and a lot of effort, she manages. "You going to leave?"] 06* Moriel looks down at Aliz in concern, then crouches down so he's on her eye level. "In a few months. But when I do, I'll bring you with me." <@Dreol> [She nods. "Okay." She stops to look at some flowers.] <@Dreol> [Aliz sighs. "I miss mommy."] 06* Moriel hugs her. "I know. I lost my family years and years ago." He looks around at the flowers. "But I always feel better when I'm outside. When I'm sad, or scared, or angry, or lonely, I go outside and it makes me feel just a little better." <@Dreol> [She nods and hugs Moriel back. After a little while she adds, "What flowers do you have?"] Oh, lots. Bellflower, and yarrow...one of my favorites when I was young was dragon flower. If you touch the flower in the right place, it opens and closes like a dragon's mouth. <@Dreol> [Aliz smiles slightly. "Sounds pretty."] <@Dreol> [She looks like she's nervous about something and then she looks up and sighs before asking. "Why do you go away all day?"] 06* Moriel 's brows knit as he thinks how to answer that one. "I'm...not quite like most people. I sleep during the day. You could come to see me in my room then, but I would just be sleeping." <@Dreol> [She nods. "Okay." She wanders over to another flower. "Is everyone here like you?"] 06* Moriel shakes his head. "Not everyone. Not even most people. But the people who aren't like me still sleep during the day more to be nice to the people like me." <@Dreol> [She nods and walks back over to Moriel. "Should I sleep during the day, too? I can try."] 06* Moriel smiles at her. "You can if you want. You'd see me more if you did. But you don't have to." <@Dreol> [She nods and looks around. "This house is so big."] 06* Moriel nods. "The man it belongs to is important, and lots of people live here. He has lots of visitors, too. Like me." <@Dreol> [She nods. "Do your friends live here? The ones from before?"] 06* Moriel shakes his head. "They're visitors, too. Some of them are from London, like me. One of them I just met, and I don't know where he's from." <@Dreol> [She nods and lays her head against Moriel and yawns. "I'm tired."] 06* Moriel rests a hand on her head. "Then let's get you back to bed." <@Dreol> [She nods and follows Moriel back to her room.] <@Dreol> [End!]
