<@Dreol> [Cathedral of Flesh, Transylvannia, July 20th 1262, 3:00 AM] <@Dreol> [You arrived through some lupine magic and instantly noticed a glowing cave. Once you approached it, you realized that the cave was made of flesh and bone, and in the cave, glowing an eerie red glow was Kali's Fang; however, you were then approached by a cloaked ominous figure with long, sharp nails and clearly fleshcrafted features. He seems pretty intent on protecting the Fang.] <@Dreol> [Maybe you can avoid fighting him by winning him over with your good looks and charming demeanor... or maybe not.] <@Dreol> [Begin.] 06* Eliana looks the Tzimisce over with distant curiosity, then behind him to the fang. She quietly removes her right glove. 06* Varyn frowns looking at the structure, clearly disturbed. 06* Moriel looks...like he'd probably be throwing up if he were still human. He's not really interested in talking to this guy. He focuses on the Fang in lieu of examining anything else around him too closely. 06* Anstace looks around the opening of the cave -- left wall, ceiling, right wall, floor -- and then up at the cloaked figure. she looks unimpressed. or not. it's kind of hard to tell since she only has one look (and it's not BLUE STEEL) 06* Rolf growls lowly and claws up. 06* Eliana looks at her hand, concentrating for a moment, then locks eyes with the Tzimisce before them. "Step aside." <@Dreol> [The man laughs and shakes his head. "And why would I do that?" His tongue lashes out and slips along in his protruding fangs.] 06* Eliana notes that. Fangs, interesting. "Because you're vastly outnumbered," she says. 06* Varyn sighs. "It's best not to taunt those opposing you. He welcomed us. Tell me, what is the cathedral?" 06* Eliana rolls her eyes. It's not like she set anything on fire yet. <@Dreol> [The Tzimisce dismisses Eliana's statement and turns to Varyn, his smile widening "This is my masterpiece. Centuries of flesh crafting has gone into creating this cathedral. It is a place of great power. And it is where Ruthven plans to usher in the time of the Dragon."] 06* Varyn smiles. "I see, are all welcomed or are we special?" He starts walking around looking the place over, moving away from the group. 06* Moriel 's gaze flicks to the Tzimisce and stays there. The revulsion and horror drain from his expression, leaving behind a hard, cold anger. 06* Anstace reaches out and touches the nearest wall. "also, what do you feed it?" <@Dreol> [The Tzimisce will prevent Varyn from walking further into the cathedral, but will allow him to walk about the entry way. "I cannot allow you to enter the Fang's chamber and leave alive. So if you insist upon walking further, you may do so, but you must die... or you could become part of the architecture. I have a lovely spot in the east wing that needs some freshening up. You are; however, welcome to leave, if you wish. I will not stop you."] <@Dreol> [He directs his attention to Anstace. "Blood. What else does one feed a kindred?"] then how do you keep it out of the daylight? 06* Varyn shrugs and starts walking back and forth studying the doorway. <@Dreol> [He grins wickedly at Anstace and then makes a motion with his hands. The walls, themselves seem to extend, the flesh stretching as if on some grotesque torture device and it grasps two large boulders outside the cave and draws back in on itself, sealing the cave shut and would plunge you all into complete darkness were it not for the lighting from the fang. "Like so." His eyes light up, glowing like Rolf's do in pitch blackness.] 06* Anstace nods. "effective," she says. 06* Moriel doesn't so much as twitch at being trapped inside a fleshy abomination. He spares the moving walls only the briefest glance before fixing his gaze back on the Tzimisce. <@Dreol> [The Tzimisce nods. "Now... I must request that you leave, if you wish to continue living. As entertaining as this has been."] 06* Rolf grins in the darkness. "Too bad you just closed the door. Guess we'll be staying." Wouldn't want to turn down yer hospitality. <@Dreol> [Yorak's body reddens and then ripples, and then his grin melts away as his whole body turns to blood. It is stationary for a moment. Like he is a statue made of blood and then he falls into the form of a huge blob of blood, and anyone with at least 1 point in Awareness can almost hear the cathedral screaming as the blood somehow burns the fleshy floor beneath it like acid.] 06* Eliana raises an eyebrow, then flicks her bare fingers towards the pool. It bursts into flames, roaring and hot, that don't touch the rest of the cathedral. 06* Anstace focuses her eyes on the blob. after a short pause, she reaches out with her hand like she is scooping up sand and then blows it from her fingers towards the blob, slowing time itself. <@Dreol> [The blob seems to writhe in the fire. Though, he does so a little slower than one might expect, thanks to Anstace.] 06* Moriel had drawn his sword reflexively, but he seems rather confounded as to what to do with it given the pile of blood in front of him, so he just sort of stops. He does step between it and Eliana, though, for whatever good that'll do. 06* Varyn stops himself from charging into the newly made hole. 06* Rolf had his claws up to maul the guy, but when he turns into a blob he growls loudly before heading for the dagger. "Cursed fleshcrafters..." <@Dreol> [Rolf gets to the dagger. It is suspended on a kind of altar made of bone.] <@Dreol> [The blob of blood writhes and then disappears into the floor. Leaving the fire behind, since it can't meld in. Part of the floor that had already been burnt by acid catches on fire for a moment before it seemingly glosses over with a hard, glassy substance not unlike calcified blood, and the fire dissipates.] 06* Rolf gets to the dagger and, uh, grabs it with one big hand, looking back towards the disappearing blob as he does. "What the hell is he doin'?" 01 Perhaps getting this place to swallow us. I ain't seein' a throat. 06* Eliana bites one bare finger, presses it into her gloved palm, and an oversized stake forms from the blood she pulls away, which she grips in her left hand. "Metaphorically, Rolf. We need to move those boulders." 06* Anstace watches the blob dissolve into the floor. "i had expected more from you," she says. 06* Varyn grunts and starts to move the boulders out of the way opening the path to freedom 06* Moriel 's eyes go distant and he murmurs, apparently to the cathedral itself, "If you could warn us where he'll reappear to attack us, it would be easier for us to kill him for you." <@Dreol> [the hooded figure of Yorak rises from the ground in his normal, kindred form. As he does so he exhales a deeply held breath and, as if he were a dragon of myth, emits of cone of fire engulfing you all, and the Cathedral entrance itself, in fire.] 06* Rolf whirls and turns on him, roaring as the fire washes over him without effect, and then charges, opting for his trusty claw over the weird glowy knife, roaring as he punches his claw into his body, to strike as fast as possible, before ripping upward to horrible effect. <@Dreol> [Yorak is taken noticeably by surprise at Rolf's attack and as Rolf strikes the final blow, Yorak's body is tossed across the cathedral and onto one of the small mouths of the cathedral, which latch onto him, and then another mouth latches onto him, and one stretches and latches onto him and as the last of Yorak's life leaves his body, the body itself seems to shrivel and disappear as his essence seems to become absorbed into the cathedral itself.] <@Dreol> [And you presumably all get the fuck out.] <@Dreol> [Session End]
