Appearance and Personality

Mithras.jpg
"Dark skinned and of compact build, with handsome features, somber eyes and shoulder-length dark hair. Mithras is extremely charismatic and usually wears loose-fitting clothing that does not hinder his movements." [1] Mithras exudes power. When he speaks, people listen, and not just because he can make them via disciplines. He exhibits a cold demeanor that feels almost inhuman at times.

History

No one knows Mithras' original name, but he was born in Persia, where he met with Ventrue in 1258 B.C. during an attack on rebel forces that were led by the antediluvian. After his embrace, the Persian general took the name of the god of war, Mithras, and convinced his people that he was said god. It was at this time that Mithras' founded the "cult of Mithras" and began to expand his empire into Europe. No one, Vampire and Mortal alike, could stand in Mithras' way, though several tried.

In 71 A.D. Mithras traveled west to the lands that are now England. After traveling throughout England, Mithras decided to settle in Londinus and establish a haven there. While other kindred continued to vie with him for power, none were able to rest control from the methuselah. In the coming years, his empire became unstable and several kindred attempted to assassinate Mithras. While he was never bested, he tired of the chaos and retreated to torpor, leaving a chaotic Britain to any who should wish to claim it.

Mithras woke around the time of the Norman conquest and the vampires of Britain were once again unified under one leader. While there was a resistance force of Kindred who attempted to prevent the methuselah's return to power, they, like so many others of the past, were unable to stand in his way, and over the course of a century, Mithras wrested power from their control and by 1154 was known to be Prince of London, and, in fact, all of Britain.[2]
