Appearance and Personality

Troile appears to be a fit, young woman in her mid-20s. She has dark, wavy, shoulder length hair, and a tanned olive skin tone. She is coldly confident in both combat and social situations, and she has no qualms about killing somebody if doing so would be to her advantage. Her high level of presence means that it is very difficult to avoid being enchanted by Troile, which makes her an even more dangerous individual to encounter, because, often, one would not even attempt to fight her.

History

Troile was a young woman of passionate spirit and will. She was embraced by Brujah around 3000 B.C. in direct disobedience of Caine's command to his children to sire no more childer of their own. As a result, Troile grew suspicious that Brujah would kill her to atone for the crime, and her sire's lack of emotion offered her no evidence to the contrary. So she diablerized Brujah to prevent that from happening, and so created the line of Brujah kindred that persisted through the ages, exchanging her sire's own mastery of time for the speed of Celerity and trading Brujah's weakness of lack of emotion for an overabundance of anger. Troile then led the clan Brujah unimpeded for nearly 3000 years.

Troile and her lover Moloch ruled the city of Carthage. When it was attacked in 146 B.C. Troile was defeated against all odds while defending against the Roman siege of the city. Scholars have several theories on how this could have happened, most revolving around the interference of another antediluvian. After her defeat, Troile and Moloch escaped the battle via Earth Melding into the ground and there constructed a grand tomb to house them until such a time as they could return to rule the world again.

Several hundred years later, Troile is rumored to have been sighted in northern Britain and was there defeated by a group of soldiers who imprisoned her within a tomb, drained of blood with a special seal to prevent her from being awoken; however, in 1251, the key to that door was acquired by the Baron of Chester who sacrificed himself to awaken Troile once again. Once free, Troile escaped the tomb and founded the city of New Carthage from which she announced her intentions to control the entire island of Britain. Mithras, the current prince of Britain, took it upon himself to launch a campaign to defeat Troile and formed an alliance known as The Grand Masquerade, and thus began the New Carthaginian War.
