Appearance and Personality

Moriel is short and slight - perhaps 5'4" or 5'5", and he probably weighs about 130 pounds soaking wet. He's also faintly androgynous. His features are clean-cut but not especially strong, and his body is rather undefined, with narrow shoulders and little to no obvious muscle. His hair was apparently once blond, but it's now gone almost completely to silver. Only a few faint streaks of gold are still visible. He keeps it shoulder-length, just long enough to tie back in a queue. His eyes are mostly grey, but they have a ring of pale blue around the pupils if one looks closely enough. Moriel generally favors simple, neat, conservative clothes in somber colors, usually grey or black.

As far as personality goes, Moriel sometimes seems to be verging on multiples. He's often cool, whether detached or amused. Sometimes he's so distant he almost seems absent. At other times, he can be warm and kind. And on the rare occasions when provoked to anger, he's capable of a gleeful cruelty. In private, however, he occasionally shows himself to be a desperately unhappy man.

History

Moriel is originally from the Scottish highlands, and he arrived in London only a few months before the events of this chronicle began. He doesn't much like talking about his history, but he's educated enough that he must have been either nobility or clergy, or both. He also seems to have had a poor relationship with his sire. Moriel has largely kept to himself since arriving in London, not doing much of note except when dragooned into it.
